OpenSimulator Community Conference 2018 - December 8 - 9, 2018

The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized by AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and community social events and tours across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.

Community social events can be scheduled on dates leading up to the conference on Saturday 12/8/18, after 7PM PDT on Sunday 12/9/18, or in the following days. Submit your community event for us to add to this conference schedule.

Eileen O'Connor

Drs. Eileen O’Connor and Nicola Marae Allain are both associate professors at SUNY/Empire State College working in learning and emerging technologies within the Masters of Arts in Learning and Emerging Technologies (MALET) program. Eileen also specializes in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) areas while Nicola focuses on the arts and media. They will be joined by several MALET students who will highlight their virtual-reality environments: Al Ritondo, a professional videographer and adjunct professor; Salie Davis, an educator in homeschool and private arenas; and, Cheryl Moore, a financial-management instructor working in middle school environments.
